Tiffany Louise Walsh in Lexington, Kentucky has pleaded guilty in federal court for allowing her boyfriend Jordan Otis to use her children to perform forced labor. Walsh pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court and now faces up to 25 years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine.

What Happened

In 2017, Walsh was arrested in Breathitt County, Kentucky for 101 criminal abuse charges related to abusing her four daughters. Walsh beat the girls with clothes hangers and forced them to write journals accusing people other than Otis of raping them. Otis was indicted months prior in 2017 for 105 counts of rape, sexual abuse and criminal abuse. The father of the girls — who wished to remain anonymous — told WYMT “if you guys knew everything you’d probably sit down and cry.”

It’s been the worst nightmare a father could ever go through, for sure. I couldn’t imagine how hard it was for them to come forward from what they’ve been through. If you guys knew everything you’d probably sit down and cry.

Father Of The Four Victims

Along with the physical abuse, court documents say Otis forced the girls to make wooden plaques and other handmade items and sell them door to door. Walsh knew what was happening and was aware Otis was spending the money on lottery tickets, cigarettes and fast food for him and her.

The girls had a daily quota of money they were forced to make. If they failed to meet their quota they would be physically and emotionally abused by Otis. One of the forms of punishment included spraying the girls down with bleach. Along with Walsh’s federal charges, her and Otis both face dozens of charges on a state level.
